Chase Doors LIGHT DUTY SERVICE DOOR Lightweight Service Door Requires Less Effort to Open! These service doors are popular in restaurants and food service applications where lower costs and aesthetic appeal are important considerations. Doors weigh less than typical impact doors making them easier to walk through in fast-paced environments (approximate weight for each panel is 1-¾ psf). Service doors are constructed with .063" anodized aluminum for long life. The leading edge is formed in a diamond pattern for vertical panel stiffness and edge protection, reducing potential damage. A 5" wide by 1" thick back edge is reinforced with 3/8" plywood and capped with aluminum for added strength and durability. Proven hinge mechanism mounts to the jamb with an offset cam and hardened rollers for minimal maintenance and years of reliable service. High-visibility 9"W x 14"H acrylic window is set in a black rubber molding.
